We have a scheduled chat every 12 days. Of course you can come into the chat room whenever you'd like, but on chat days everyone makes a bit more effort so it's more likely we'll have people in there.

Upcoming chat days:With the Java-based client you don't have to install anything on your computer. The only requirement is a webbrowser with support for Java 1.3 or higher. Most recent browsers already have this by default. When the applet doesn't seem to work in your browser, you can try to get the most recent version of Java here.
The webbased client allows you to connect when you're behind a firewall that blocks direct access to the IRC server.
