Re: Women only companies. A disaster!

This is ridiculous. My office is 95% women and it's expanding. No one has been murdered yet. Don't blame shitty leadership on gender.

Re: How comfortable do you feel asking about someone's race?

I don't ask people about that. To be honest I'm usually not that curious? It could have something to do with growing up in a fairly diverse area? But maybe not. It probably also has something to do with the fact that as a white person race becoming salient in a conversation doesn't tend to endear pe...

Re: What are you binge watching right now?

Riverdale is surprisingly good. I wouldn't say binge watching because there are only about 3 episodes so far though. If you enjoyed the original archie comics as a kid (which I did, I would scour garage sales for them) and you'd like to see that American dream suburban ideal get a little dark and di...

I skip whenever possible. As I spend the majority of my life pretending to be a serious adult this doesn't happen as often as I'd like it to.

Questionable. I'm definitely an enthusiastic dancer though. Invite me to your wedding and I'll keep the dance floor going all night.

Those only existed in the 70's.

You need to buy some Mikesell's potato chips

Google is telling me that is not possible in my area.

Please stop doubting a person's credibility as a feminist based on their gender. No one is "running a section called Feminism". Sonic is one of two moderators assigned to that board. Just gonna dive in here and say that I'm a woman. Not that it matters . This question is answered though.

Well this is awkward. I like most of the trends in this thread. Other then high heeled sneakers and shitty pockets. I'm a bit of a closet fashion lover. I only say closet because I'm also super cheap and unfortunately practical so don't tend to buy everything I like.

Re: If you were a piece of furniture what would you be?

I would be that ratty little table you got for $7.00 at a rummage sale, that you refinished, that turned out to be totally gorgeous, so you took it to Antiques Roadshow and they said it would be worth thirteen million dollars in original condition, but since you refinished it, it turns out to only ...

We came home to glass in the room of the house we're most likely to use barefoot.

Well that's terrible.

Lately I've had trouble with cords. My earbuds and my multicharger have recently bit the dust.

Fun fact: went to a restaurant yesterday and they had four unisex rooms one of which was a urinal. Which makes a hell of a lot more sense then this.

Re: Dredging Up The Rape Culture Conversation Part 4Billion

Sexual Assault is when someone is touched in a flirtatious or sexual manner without their consent. Rape is when you engage in sexual activity with someone without their legitimate consent. Not perceived consent, but actual desire and interest in agreeing to engage in any sort of sexual activity. Co...

Re: Dredging Up The Rape Culture Conversation Part 4Billion

Pikachu - rape numbers are often very dependent on how easy and effective reporting rape is in a country. My understanding is that in Sweden each rape is counted individually. So for example in a case of domestic violence someone could be charged 100 times when in another country that would be 1 cha...

I don't see it saying they took MRI's or any other form of brain scan in order to know that. So in other words, you're guessing? Since they haven't taken an MRI to prove/disprove it? Should also be noted that if you're on feminizing hormones the effects are pretty noticeable physically in a majorit...
