Re: What have you run over?

I have run over: many squirells, rabbits, a dog, a couple of birds, random trash, a few curbs, several fences, a fire hydrant & steel posts guarding it, my friends counsin Jessica, a tree or two, and that's all I can remember, but I think there's more. But if it makes you feel better I haven't r...

Re: Home internet data caps

I have AT&T with a 150gb cap and I have hit the cap 2 or three times which cost me an extra $10 for another 50gb (of which I used less than 10gb). As long as I don't stream too much video at 1080p I don't have problems though and tbh I cant tell the difference on my monitor between 1080p and 480...

Re: Archetypes, stereotypes and cultural appropriation

I think that in this particular example that the stereotypical romani fortune teller is such a perversion and non truthful representation of romani culture that using it isn't really cultural appropriation. But I'm no expert, I just dabble in history. Your friend should do whatever feels comfortable...

Re: The cancer of radical sjws ruining feminism

Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical reordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts. Radical feminists seek to abolish patriarchy by challenging existing social norms and institutions, rather than through a purel...

Re: Brexit

You're right Tweek, being an American I don't know from an on the ground perspective who the people are who voted for Brexit. I'm sure they're not all ignorant, or bigots, or both. But the Americans that are voting for Trump here in the U.S. ARE ignorant, or bigots, or both and I say that with some ...

Re: Brexit

The way I read it is that the same ignorant xenophobic bigots that allowed Trump to be our Republican candidate for President have cousins in the UK who also don't get it. The older rural voters who are afraid of the "city folk" and their multiculturalisms are a serious force to be reckone...

what dictionary? Find a dictionary that uses the word "hate" vs using the word "superior" and I will concede the point. Otherwise I want you to know that racism isn't about hating another race, it's about knowing your own race to be superior and being upset that those that are i...

Re: Intersectionality, and why it's fundamentally wrong.

I don't know how you define the term "racism", but I'm going by the dictionary definitions here, and by those definitions, hating someone merely because of skincolour is absolutely racism, because, as I said, you hating someone must mean you think there is a characteristic to hate, that y...

Re: Intersectionality, and why it's fundamentally wrong.

As for black racists, sure there are black people who don't like white people, but "racism" is defined as believing your own race as superior. Black people don't think they're superior, they just hate white people, and for many this is with reason, not just because they were taught this. ...

Re: I voted for Trump in my state's primaries

The problem you might not see with Trump is that he likes to make deals and his moral compass only points towards his own gain. So he would side with the radical right to restrict reproductive rights if they would side with him to say ..build a stupid wall. Trump is not dumb, he's a master manipulat...

and the very best part about this thread and the nitpicking over details is that despite what I'm guessing is a pro-life stance of some of the posters there has been no mention of banning abortion. When I started on this forum we couldn't have this discussion without it flaming out.

monk you just advocated me being killed by the USC football team, how does that accord with feminist values exactly? Who said I was promoting feminist values? Rabid dogs need to be put down before they hurt someone. Doing jello shots and bong hits are certainly not anti-feminist activities. There a...
