what art are you making?

This is a perpetual topic. It won't ever be locked and you can reply to it even if it hasn't had replies in a while.

I tried doing the "Hour of Code" activity on Khan Academy and made this

First time using JavaScript. Reminds me of doing pixel art in MS Paint.

Very nice!

The Hour of Code is awesome and their courses are great. Such a good project.

I'm in the middle of moving, but it's also my only time off work so I am trying to do some pottery/playing with clay. I am making a big squid to hang on the wall of the new house. Now I just need a wall.

I like it, Neko!

Userbot, if I'm going to do a quick sketch or something that doesn't take a lot of time, I'll post it here. Otherwise, I'm making my own thread when it comes to art projects!

I am making this right now: http://www.woollythoughts.com/afghans/double.html

It is taking FOREVER! But I have 37 or 100 squares finished which is quite good :)
Ugh, I'm tired of my signature.

Just finished this. It's potato-stamped linen stapled onto a canvas. For what it's worth, I really count this as crafting, not art, because, really, all the "art" that went into it was choosing colors, counting dots and picking out a spot for a dot. If my inspiration is "Pinterest", I'll usually call it "craft". But I liked how it turned out. And it's a cheap-ish, large-ish decoration for my wall.

I have been weaving on a child-sized loom and wanted to piece all the rectangles together into a blanket, but it would probably just look like a giant place mat. Not sure what to do here.

I'm also making an ottoman cover and cushion covers because my sofa throw pillows are ugh.

I knitted a few baby hats while waiting for my bub's arrival. She looks so cute in them.

I just finished a fibonacci quilt that I had been working on for over two years. There's a lot I would do differently if I started today, but I'm overall happy, and there's no way I'm going to put in the effort for another quilt anytime soon.

Not the clearest of pictures. It's the first in a series of dead flowers/plants. I plan on drawing something at least once a week indefinitely. My hope is to sell them, but if I can't I'll at least have a number of drawings to show at the local farmers market and local art festivals.

Graphite. I pretty much always use a 9B, 9h, and a mechanical pencil.

I would like to take some credit since I am the one who brought home flower arrangements from work and waited for them to die so he could draw them.

Also the picture is very pretty. It has a lot of texture.

Waited for them? or neglected them and didn't throw them away?

It must be nice to be surrounded by his art, amidst all your dead flowers.

Storage, I still think you should try the video thing as extra income.

If you buy me the ridiculously expensive camera I'd need, I'll get right on it.

I'm ocd spazzing out on my resume in an Artful fashion. Pretty much it can never be done as is the case for all of my writing. Always room for improvement. And cool stuff. As far as that khan academy challenge props for actually using that site. That's like having the will power to buy a textbook and read it and not for a grade

This is more like someone else's art that I've been completing. Someone got me a 1000 dot to dot book by Thomas Pavitte and I've been having fun with it.

Or these:

I find sitting at the blowtorch and melting things very relaxing. I do nothing with anything I make these days, everyone knows what they're getting for xmas though!
