I found the site when a friend posted a useless blob in her live journal, later another friend and I decided to join the board as it looked fun, sadly she got lost when the old board died :hrm:

The quizzes were amusing, the stick deaths had a message to them, everything seemed right...but wait, whats that in the bushes?

Basically I was a sad, sad Neopets fan, and you really have to know the history of this place to understand...suffice to say it cured me of my feverish impulses and I never went back to Neopets again. Well, maybe once. Just to see how my Lapsherkyendya Nooble was doing, you know. I'll always remember my first argument with MFS, although he probably doesn't because he argues with a lot of people. I met wickedcool people, who were just about as manic as you can hope to be, and lots of them are damn Yankees (by which I mean North American, South American and Canadian) so I learnt more about Americans than I did from geography. Or a certain sub-culture of freaky American teens, anyway. I can safely say I'm a better (and probably a soppier) person because of this site. I love spacefem.com. If there were t-shirts saying that, I'd buy one. I probably will now I've come up with the idea...Maybe I should've stuck to Neopets.

Embarrasingly enough, I got here through Neopets as well. Way back when, as I wasted my time as a ten-year-old, I thought Neopets was the greatest thing evAr. I clicked on a link on someone's shop page and was directed to the useless blobs on Spacefem. I took the quizzes, read the advice page, watched stick-death, and forgot about it for awhile. Years later, considering myself older and wiser, I went back to Neopets to have a good laugh, got sucked in again, and was again happily directed to Spacefem. Luckily I found the forums this time and have not looked back since. I was a really sucky newbie, but I think I'm better now.

Assorted quizzes over a few months... then I found the forums, needed to procrastinate instead of writing an essay about Strawberry Hill and its influence on goth subculture, and a beautiful friendship was born.

I first found the site after clicking a link to one of the quizzes (the colour one, I think). After I took the test I completely forgot about Spacefem for a few months. But something kept nagging me at the back of my mind to find that site with the cool quizzes over those few months. Once I re-discovered Spacefem, I lurked around as a non-member for another 3 months before breaking down and joining.

My friend Sara [opodgodie]. She's not around here anymore, and I tend to leave and come back. I must have been 13-ish when she first introduced me, and I'm 16 now. So...yay for three years of on again-off again spacefemming!

When I was about 14 a friend of mine told me about it. Four years later, we're both still here.

It seems very long ago. Just followed a link posted along with someone's quiz results. In all honestly, I don't know what it was that kept me here.

A useless blob on neopets.

First, i would read Spacefem's hilarious blogs. Then one life-transforming day I saw the word "forum" on a little menu button. I was intrigued, thinking "w-t-f is a forum?" So i clicked it. And behold, I was sucked into the spacefem community.

After getting on my brother's nerves for years, and after starting to have english lessons in school (5th grade (we got 13) he told me I that I am evil.
I asked why - he just shook his head and told me to find out what evil I am.

After not understanding a word of the whole quiz I decided to work on my english and try again later.
Some years later, I remembered why english was my best subject (always were) and came back.
Not being faced with any problems anymore I found out I was influentally evil (that explained my great many followers at the time - unfortunately, they turned on me, so I had to punish them all. Presently, they're forced to attend to the Teletubbies 24/7 MWAHAHAHAHA)

I then proceeded to take ALL the quizzes (I do not need a boyfriend, I'm a 70's geek, I am a invisible can of mustard [I think] and I am an online quiz) and then showed people there to get to know what their results are. I then was bored with the quizzes (because I had taken them too often) and already did discover blobs and StickDeath.

Now I am 19 and 2 weeks ago, I visited once again, deciding to have a deeper look into the page.

Ummmmm - Forum.
Fun site = fun people? Possibly.
So: Me joins to find out. Now I see: Fun site = fun people

I enjoy my time. And it keeps getting better (mostly).

This is horrible, but through Neopets. I found the blobs on people's shops page, back when I fit the 16-year-old-girl-with-a-modem stereotype. I lurked for a while, joined, unjoined, joined, stayed, took a short break, am still here.

I saw someone's quiz results, for the Militant Feminist quiz, I think, and followed it here. The rest was ecstasy.

I was sitting on the dock at the red house right outside of Stockholm, with my feet in the Baltic and my pc on my lap. (around 2003 when I was in school in Sverige.)

My sisters and I had just finished making seaweed paper and laid it out on the rocks to dry.

And, suddenly, I don't know how (probably magic), but I was at Spacefem.

Granted I was very confused, I didn't understand most of the humour, and I had no idea what a 'forum' was (besides a place of business in ancient Rome)

I clicked on the forum button(wondering what it was) attempted to navigate(failed miserably), read some posts, thought everyone was insane, and left, only to return three years later out of boredom.

I used to have a xanga and I used to fill the bottom with cute but useless quizzes. I also had a boyfriend at the time. I was very amused to find that I did not need a boyfriend and soon took all the other fun quizzes. I was cornflower blue of the html colour quiz and soon proceeded to check out what more fun this site could ofer me. I joined straight away. not sure why I keep coming back, but I'm assured it has something to do with all the cool diverse people here and the relaxed attitude. I even got one of my friends to join! Go me!
No thanks, I already have a :penguin:

In a fit of weird madness I actually took my friend's advice and joined her much loved forum where she promised me lots of chocolate and intellectual discussion. I realized I had been invited into a little piece of wonderful internet wizardry.

What feels like ages ago, me and my sister were looking for a funny quiz to take and we came upon the Militant Feminist Quiz. We picked all the ones that were most extremist, and were constantly laughing at the "set him on fire" answers. Anyway, a few days ago I wanted to join a new forum and I realized there was a SpaceFem forum. :O

In the 4th grade at the Intelligent Kids Program Center Place (I forget what it was called, I'm so gifted, hmm?) my friends from the other elementary school were madly in love with Neopets.
I thought they were lame.
They found the blobs and went to the quizzes, and I followed because at least it wasn't Neopets.
So then I got an account in the 6th grade remember the funny quizzes and finding the forums, made a grand total of 3 posts, got bored because everyone was far older than I was, and left again, only to come back and go, "Ya know what? I'm keeping this!"

And here I am.
I almost wasn't a n00b anymore until I told Edit not to do drugs. Dammit. I'm still staunchly anti-drugs, though, so there. *thbbb*
