What sort of aircraft do you see where you live (that can be identified without a telescope!)

Select all that you see with any regularity

The little airport up by us has a DNR plane that I see sometimes. It's pretty neat. I'm not sure what it used to be; it kind of reminds me of the shape of an old bomber but not quite.

Otherwise helicopters (traffic and hospital) and the usual civilian aircraft. The ones that fly right over our house tend to be little prop planes, but we can see various jets as well. I don't think there's a lot of military air traffic, but I could be wrong I suppose.
Global warming is intricately tied to the decline in the pirate population. As the pirate population goes down, the average global temperature goes up. Ergo, pirates are cool, and we need more pirates. :pirate: ARRR!

Little planes, big planes and seaplanes. And helicopters, but not as often as in LA.
Bork is too lazy to bother thinking up a witty signature. :polarbear:

Where I am now, small private plans, helicopters from the highway police and forest service and small and big passenger planes. Back in the city pretty much a little of everything but we don't really see a lot of big or technical military stuff.

I live near an airport. I see lots of planes and stuff.

I mainly see fast jets, Military transport and helicopters and light aircraft going to a nearly private airfield. I also see the occasional private helicopter and the vintage aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Here are some snaps taken from the bedroom window of passing aircraft:
