Aum, that's good to hear. Maybe I'll try it since I've been having trouble with itchy/dandruffscalp.

I'm glad you posted this because a) directions and b) now I know that ACV = apple cider vinegar
I was so confused....
Global warming is intricately tied to the decline in the pirate population. As the pirate population goes down, the average global temperature goes up. Ergo, pirates are cool, and we need more pirates. :pirate: ARRR!

As a general statement, people can give advice and factual information without it being an attack on personal habits, and you are perfectly welcome to disregard any advice given if you choose, no excuse or defense of your actions needed.

Aum, does the vinegar leave a smell behind or any other effects outside of the intended ones? My boyfriend has had trouble with dandruff and Head and Shoulders doesn't always work very well and it bothers him, so I might suggest it, but I don't think he'd appreciate smelling like vinegar all day either.

I find that rinsing very thoroughly gets rid of any vinegar smell. When I do a vinegar rinse I rinse thoroughly with warm and then with cold water.
If I bang my head against a brick wall five times and get five lumps, why am I surprised when I bang it a sixth time and get a sixth lump?

I do notice a bit of smell but once your hair is dry there is no smell. The next day when I wet my hair the smell returned... it seems to only smell if your hair is wet, or if you use a lot. Keep in mind that I dumped a whole glass of pure vinegar on my head! Not exactly tactful, but I wanted to do a sure-fire experiment. :)

I'll usually take a hair styling metal to the pieces that got strange instantaneously. I take a longer period awaiting the metal to warm up than I do actually hair styling it. It gets cut when my siblings hairstylist companion come round- and she chooses how to cut it! If I could get away with it I'd cut it all off. But then I'd have a freezing go.
