I know HTML circa 1998. After that, I know how to read and pastiche together CSS to slightly tweak my Wordpress site.

One of these days I ought to upgrade my skillz to HTML5 so I can reprogram some of our java stuff so that it stops breaking all the time. But honestly I'm at the point where I'm like can't I just hire a student to do that*. I have better things to do with my time.

*actually the answer to this was yes so I should get on that and find one.

I can read enough to not mess anything up too badly. I once had a job which included copy pasting french translations of text into html instead of English (for the french version of the website). This involved extremely basic understanding of both french and html and an ability to not drop dead of boredom. My understanding of both is at that level still but I'm pretty sure the boredom would have got me eventually.

I know just enough HTML to use it in annoyingly incorrect and obsolete ways.

Not much; if I need something in HTML I just use the composer on Mozilla's SeaMonkey browser.

I know about as much as sonic# and Galen know, but not enough to realize there are numbers attached at the end of "HTML" now... 5???? I missed 4 of those boats...

I used to know enough to customize my LJ and Myspace pages, but that was ages ago. Also, I'm not sure that really counts as knowing HTML...
Bork is too lazy to bother thinking up a witty signature. :polarbear:
