any ENTP's on here?

Postby Nillerz » Fri Feb 6, 12:19 2009

I'm talking about the MBTI type... if you don't know, http://similarminds.com/jung.html

I'm actually an ENxP, but when I do the T thing, I do it like a crazy person. If you're an ENTP, what crazy stuff do you do with electronics, code, or other things? If you aren't an ENTP, feel free to share your experiments, inventions, and other crap. Tinkering is always fun!

I was working on a fish-tank television before I moved, now it's in the garbage. :<

So you're pretty balanced on the P/J and F/T? That's cool, it just means you can operate in both effectively. Being an ENxP sorta is weird, because ENxP's are likely to be diagnosed with psychosis... >_>

I versus E is probably the most important, being an introvert isn't a bad thing (less common than extraverts, so they're just DIFFERENT), but that determines how you experience the rest of them.

Mood determines alot of it too, so go off your most common result and remember, you choose what you are, the test is only an indicator.

Err...made a mistake. I meant, balanced on the F/T, not the P/J. Got 'em mixed up.

Despite my apparent exuberance on the boards and in chat, I'm actually pretty quiet in person.

I'm cool with people who always think they're right as long as they generally are right. I know too many people who are convinced they are always right, even when talking about something way out of their area of expertise.
If I bang my head against a brick wall five times and get five lumps, why am I surprised when I bang it a sixth time and get a sixth lump?

handcoding html just means you're slightly OCD, and unusually tech-savvy. and not afraid to look at code. i think it's faster to hand code myself. but that's off topic.

This entire topic is off-topic, but it's cool.
I'm happy to see alot of ENxP and ENFP, as well as INFJ.

Any introvert type is likely to be shy, though introversion isn't defined as "doesn't like people", or "is a loner". Extroverts suck energy out of social scenarios with alot of people, and introverts get exhausted here. That means that E types are vampires. ENFP especially.

ENxP is not a very explored type because it's not part of the original 16 Jungian archetypes. Anything with an x in it isn't.

I just started learning how to make a website that way and haven't graduated to using a program to do it. Frontpage looks really horrible but I've been told that Dreamweaver is pretty good. I also like knowing that if a program stuffs up I know how to go back and fix it myself. And doing things in ways you're not really meant to do them can have good-interesting results...

I use Dreamweaver but have no clue how to use any of the wysiwyg functionality, I hand-type it all.

Hi all... this was suggested as a spacial profiling question (Thanks Neko) so I've made it one. I split this thread... if your response to the question stands just fine on its own you're in the new thread, otherwise you're in this discussion-y one. You're welcome to edit your response over there, post one, or keep talking here.
