Mourning

Insprired by the death of Joey the Spork. Please, be not offended, I beg thee. I wish to mention as well that should you find this Olde English, or rather, this massacreing of Olde English, annoying, make yourself aware of the fact that I, too, am thoroughally aggrieved by its presence in my conscience, but alas! 'Twill not leave me to my own devices. Vote now, and forgive me.

Mourning for someone you've never met seems to be socially-acceptable crazy, but still kind of crazy.

I was kind of mourning my old bike when I outgrew it. Does that count? xD

That said, being emotionally attached to bikes is kind of socially accepted amongst my cyclist friends anyway, while my non-cyclist friends generally know me as being crazy about my bike; and if anyone suggests that I'm crazy, I can blame my growth spurt.

(Yes, I blame my growth spurt for all sorts of silly things including but not limited to eating too much, being moody, being tired, leg pain, and being worse at balancing than I used to be.)

I don't think I've ever mourned an inanimate object (and definitely not a celebrity). Though I did mourn the loss of my old school when I changed schools for the first time; does that count?

In actual fact, I do not mourn anything. Not death (even for the few people who are close to me) and certainly not for an inanimate object.
