Yes, that song is in French.

I understood some of it, but my French has all gone to hell.

My translation of the beginning:

In the forest....something something...in the morning....something arrives....something something imagine.

Chorus: In the morning, a bunny/rabbit...something something...blah blah blah

Wow, wasn't that helpful? I suppose anyone with a little knowledge of the language could have picked those out. :P

How on earth did I get over 90% in French class...

That was really weird but funny. I especially liked the parts with the elephants and the dj guy! I totally missed the part about teeth, where was it?

Well fine then. If i had been bothered to actually choose between erman and spanish, rather than ticking the "I really don't give a damn" box, i might be doing spanish.

Bien, nous parlons français de la mode connue sous le nom de "façon du lycée stoppant", si c'est n'importe quel bon à vous! En bref, je peux lire un menu, si pour ne pas me permettre les prix là-dessus.

And no, apparently we cannot just "make it stop", lol...

I said,..."I speak French in the fasion known as "halting high school", if that does you any good! In short, I can read a fancy menu, if not afford the prices.". See? Nothing important, and not worth translating.

If the link worked for me, I would have given it a shot, but for some reason, it just keeps re-routing me back to the brandeis home page. Sorry...

I took French for 4 years in high school, because my mother insisted on it. What I really enjoyed was Latin, so I had to sneak in every day, for those 4 years, and audit the Latin classes I wanted.

Now, I have almost no use for all that French, and even less for Latin, lol.

I plan to take French for the full 5 possible (8-12th), but who knows. In my district, none of the language teachers speak the language properly, and we only offer 3: French, Spanish, & Italian. My mother wants to ship me off to Switzerland to learn French, but I'd feel like an idiot speaking it the way my Lawn Giland professeur taught me.

Um...slow down, there! I wouldn't go so far as to say loved, but the absence of your presence was noted, okay?
