Strippers!

Strippers are a natural wonder.

Thank them.

As I have with my $40.

They appreciate it. And so does my face. God bless them.

Glad you had a good time?

Be careful of getting STI's on your face when you've got strippers rubbing their junk on your face.

40 bucks isn't bad for a night at the strip club.

Oh no. They still had clothes on. And I had very interesting drunk conversations with them between the stalls in the ladies' room.

I smell like bad perfume though.

Strippers (and quite a bit more than $40) cured me of my depression of getting divorced. Yay Strippers!

I ask this out of naivety (I don't know): do strippers have a higher rate of STI? I would do a search, but the images coming up would be risky here in a theological library.

That's a hard question

I would think it dependent on the strip club. There are strip clubs that the girls are just strippers (low risk) and there are strip clubs were the strippers are basically prostitutes advertising themselves pre-sale(much higher risk). You can easily tell the difference because the girls that are just strippers are usually WAY better looking and the girls that are selling more than just a dance are usually way more comfortable and free with physical contact that the laws governing strip clubs usually prohibit.

Of course you're going to have exceptions to these rules that I think will depend on how your locality deals with the laws against prostitution and the laws against physical contact at a strip club.

I'd really like to see a strip club that is owned and ran by women. Just curious if there would be a noticeable difference.

There was one in Albuquerque that was owned by a woman and everyone who worked the bar was a woman but you still had a bunch of dudes walking the floor as security. I think it would be really hard to find enough women to do the security role in a strip club without any male support and not because they couldn't handle drunken idiots, it just that there would be more incidents as the night wore on and the drunken men forgot that the women security weren't just strippers in uniforms.

Personally, it would be pretty hot to see female security lay the smack down on some morons. Seeing women exert their authoritah rather than passing along the assertive/aggressive roles to men by default just... dayum.

Now you guys have me imagining strictly lesbian (female staff/patrons only) strip clubs. I'm sure they're out there. Maybe.

I don't doubt a womans ability to do the job if trained for it but as a business owner you don't want your security to have to do stuff, that's why they often hire big intimidating guys who can't fight their way out of a paper bag vs guys who are small martial arts professionals, you want there to be more drinking and less fighting and putting women up as security is just asking for trouble on a nightly basis from either men or women patrons.

Although, come to think of it, I would bet there are some strictly lesbian bars out there that have no men at all that must use female bouncer/security types. I think this needs investigating. So cmon ladies, it's time for you all to go out to the bars and do some research!

^ Some lesbian-only bars do, in fact, only hire female security.

I don't think that bouncers are about demonstrating ability necessarily, but intimidation, strength and even attitude. Size conveys authority, and I've met some big women in my time who I would NOT want to mess with. The mainstream perception is that women cannot hold this title, but seriously... reality is a much different story.

Women could totally pull off being bouncers. It's just a matter of hiring the right ones (as it is with men).

I've encountered a few female bouncers, & they were biiiig ladies you would not want to fuck with.
There's a dodgy ass club on the main drag in Glasgow, the kinda place where you'll get battered for wearing the wrong colour & with a metal detector on the way in.
Some guy was having an arguement with his girlfriend outside, it escalated pretty quickly from him grabbing her bag & throwing it across the street to him booting her in the ankles & her hitting the ground hard. This all happened just as I was walking past & I was a bit confused as to why the bouncers weren't doing anything (they still had the queue to keep in check). Then this big burly lady bouncer saunters over to the dude, knocked him to the floor & just sat on him 'til the queue had died down & the male bouncers were able to deal with him.
So all of you saying that women can't work in security? Rubbish.

I'm fairly sure there's one at Tooting.

Some of the best I've met are females. They're not pumped on steroids like their male counterparts.

Wichita being the mecca of strip clubs that it is, I can speak to that. People joke that we've got both more churches and more strip clubs than any other city in the midwest... I doubt that, but the numbers are high.

Anyway we've got Michelle's Beach House, which is owned by Michelle. I'm not sure she's known for her feminism, she's more known for being a serious business woman, which in a way I guess if feminist? But if you piss off Michelle it doesn't matter if you're male or female... we joke that if her strippers cross her, they have to "put clothes on and go work at The Garage" which is her bar downtown. Anyway the Beach House is a family place... her son's always hanging out there, her daughter works there as a stripper. It's no more classy or respectful than any strip club.

If you actually want to know about feminist strippers you've got to watch the documentary "Live Nude Girls Unite", about a group of liberal gals working a peep show who decide to unionize. It's both sexy and educational. The patrons totally win your heart with their support for lovely lady labor rights.

A strip club and respect? What?

Don't you understand that this is what I'm trying to say? Just because a woman is a stripper doesn't make her any less of a human being and every human being deserves your RESPECT. Respect for her body as her own property and respect for her mind being a thinking individual. And maybe if feminists ran a strip club, the strippers wouldn't be treated like shit like all strippers are, and the patrons would give them this basic human respect.

Then why not ban strip clubs all together? I am against strip clubs, I do not visit them. Male or Female, they show now respect to the person. Don't rave on to me that feminists would treat them better. They would for maybe the first few months, then that nice green dollar sign would take over.
