Today was such a great day.
Last night/early morning I finally got over the writer's block that had been plaguing me for DAYS and got a whole section of my thesis done, which meant today I finally wasn't feeling constantly stressed about not being productive at all.
My wacky hippie flower child feminist English professor brought lots of food to class and ended class discussion early so she could talk to us all about life from her perspective as an old woman who has weathered many decades. Cardio Kickboxing was my last class I would ever have as an undergrad, so I put a lot of effort into the workout and felt amazing afterwards.
This evening I went to the annual Grateful Dead Meet-up At the Movies where they screened a Grateful Dead show at movie theaters across the country. I went with a good friend who I will greatly miss after I graduate and our other good friend who was in town from six hours away, who we don't get to see often and I miss dearly. Upon getting to the theater, a random couple handed us two free $12.50 tickets (this is called "miracling" in the Dead community) and told us to enjoy the show. The show itself was superb!! It was a professional video of a 1989 GD concert, and it was just mesmerizing. At several points, we and others in the audience got up and started dancing in the aisles. Afterwards we went out and got food and it was just a blast of a night!
On top of it all, it was a beautiful, warm, sunny, gorgeous, perfect day.

Enjoy the time, I remember the in-between as kind of bittersweet. But I still see and talk to most of my good friends from college even though we live far apart!
ARRR!
