I am on a mission to see who is really cuter, Frodo or Legolas.

Marie (as in Marie Antionette) and I had a debate about this. I chose Frodo and she chose Legolas. So now I want to see what you people think.

umm... that's a picture of Mirnanda Otto from a different movie... Miranda Otto is the Austrailian actress that plays Eowyn, sister of Eomer, neice of King Theodon of Rohan. She has a cute nose.

yeah frodo is quite a wuss actually, but if they were in the water sam would lose the guy cant swim... damn i cant swim either :(

how bout the legoman and liv's lover in the movie... i dont remember their names
i think the legoman would win he is slick with them arrows

Aragorn could probably kick Legolas' ass... Legolas may be quick with the bow, but Aragorn is not just any joe-blow human... he's already stinking old, as he's of Numenorian blood, and thus not only very skilled and strong, but quite wise. Aragorn is pretty much the ultimate bad-ass, non-wizard type.

oh yeah i forgot that Aragorn is kind of half elf right? but he still ages unlike true elves right?

yeah i think if they were in a close combat battle Aragorn would win but if it wasnt close range Legolas might win with his fast and accurate bow and arrow skills dont you think

Aragorn is still quite good with the bow.

Aragorn's ancestry has elves in it, but its waaaay back many generations. Essentially he is a decendant of Elrond's brother (I think its 10 generations, but don't hold me to that - I don't feel like looking it up just right now).

ok you are a true Lord of the Rings fan.. .i knew none of that.. heheh

out of legolas, aragorn and the dwarf guy i would have to say that the dwarf guy sucks the most, he could hardly keeep up with legolas and aragorn in the two towers when they did all that travelling.

yes, but that's because Dwarves are stunty. It would indeed be hard to keep up with tall, spry men and elves when you are a rotund, robust, and stunty guy with a small walking stride.

Yeah but look at what Gimli did at the battle of Helm's Deep. He's a mean mofo with that axe. You can outrun him, but you'll probably lose your legs if you try to come at him.
I don't think Aragorn is descended from elves, he's just the last of the First Men, descendant of the Numenorians? I didn't read much of the Silmarillion, god I tried but it was way too boring.

Some of the Men of Numenor had the blood of elves in their lineage.
