It's an annual tradition - celebrate our high posters, topic starters, bright newbies, annoying trolls... you name it. The annual forum awards!

For the second year in a row Monk was our top poster. For the first time ever there was an exact TIE for second, which is freaking weird:

I have yet to find a good way to rank newbies. Right now they're ranked by "posts per day" which really gives unfair advantage to anyone who joined in December. But you get the idea. Ladyhawk made the "topic" list and joined in February, I think I really award her "newbie of the year" for being active, sticking around, not being a troll, and posting generally pretty cool stuff.

I'm laughing at getting the same number of posts as rowan. That's very weird, especially since there's no one within a hundred of us. Mathematical anomaly go!

I'd like to nominate Butterfly North for "person I learned the most from." Because I learn a lot here from all of you, but there have been several threads in the past year where she has laid an idea out in a better way than I think I could, and she may have me beat for patience towards trolls too. (I don't know only because there isn't a hair-pulling-out-ometer.) Also Mordak, for being a Friend to Chat, though time is frequently against us.

I am surprisingly still doin' ok on number of posts. I seem to recall getting most posts a year or two in a row-ish or something. Shocked I placed in active threads, even though it was clearly a split thread. Oh, Buffy, you such a silly show and are so fun to discuss.

Ladyhawk certainly deserves the top newbie spot. Her and Spacefem perhaps deserve awards for "awesome (and adorable picture bearing) forum mommy's"?
