Cellphones are everywhere. It seems like nowadays you must own a cellphone or you aren't very cool. Most businesspeople can not go a day without a cellphone or else they experience headaches, anxiety, or other symptoms of having no cellphone. All the time people are walking around chattering on them. <hr>
Cellphones can be very helpful. It is amazing that we can carry these portable little devices and be able to contact practically anyone wherever and whenever we want. If there is some kind of emergency you can use them to call the police, or they can be used to contact businesspeople you need to talk to. But why do people blow money away on cellphones when they don't even need them?
For example lots of kids in my class have cell phones and they barely have a use for them. They really just carry them to show off. Occasionally they will "accidentally" let the phones fall out of their backpacks and hold them up for everyone to see. All these excess cellphones are very annoying. I mean who really wants to sit around and listen to ringtones to the tune of Jingle Bells or watch people's pants jigle because their cellphones are vibrating? Are bright colored cellphone clips and designed buttons really worth manufactoring? The conversations people have on cellphones tend to be really boring and just plain dumb! And all this radiation in the air can't be good for us. I think that people should only use cellphones if they really need them, and use payphones and regular phones the rest of the time.
