How did you get to spacefem.com?

When I was about 14 a friend of mine told me about it. Four years later, we're both still here.

Where is your user pic from, and what does it mean to you?

It means nothing. I used to have one that meant something, but then it got lost during some programming shift that I wasn't around for, so I just picked a new one that looked cool. Someday I'll make a new one that means something, but right now I don't have any graphic editing software on my new computer, and I can't afford to buy the software that I'd like. So for now, this is it.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Dunno yet. I'd really like to be a foreign diplomat. I'm studying political science in university, and I might go to law school... we'll see how it goes. All the "adults" in my life keep telling me that I should run for prime minister.

What general things should we know about you?

I'm eighteen and I live in Canada. I'm a university student, and I love music in many different forms, I play the flute and I love to sing and get involved in politics. I consider myself a competent writer. I love to go to church because of the music and the people, though I don't like to call myself a christian. I love to travel and to read. The most important thing to me is my friends, but my life is really focused around school.

How do you generally stand on political issues?

I'm a social democrat. Look it up.

Describe any animals you live with.

I'm currently living in a university residence, but back at my mom's house, I have two cats. One is seven years old and unusually small for her age, she also doesn't know what she wants, she mews at you for attention but if you pet her she runs away. My dad's theory is that she has really sensitive skin. The other is just about the opposite. He loves people and he's only a year old but very big. He also comes when he's called.

What part of the world do you live in? Do you like it?

I live in Canada. I love it here. Despite the cold, I think it's a pretty awesome country.

What is your religious identification/lack thereof?

Officially, I belong to the Anglican church of Canada. I attend a church when I am in my hometown, because it's where I grew up, I have a community there. The church feels like home to me more than my real home does, and I believe that it does good work. I don't know if I believe in God or Jesus or all that stuff though... I have yet to figure that out for sure. I have a lot of things to say about God that start with "If there is a God, she...". I know what God would be like if she does exist... I'm just not sure if she does.
