User:Zeph
Zeph is a Texan USAn college student female. I think she joined in 2003. She likes soda. She has three cats. Her elephant's name is Clancey. Zeph has a lot of interests, her mood can be totally different depending on which day it is. She spends a lot of time on Spacefem, because she browses the web during work and she has a ton of online school work. She will probably go into International Law, where she will inspire world peace through her brilliant tattoos and sheer amazingness. Zeph apologizes for posting fifty times a day. For some reason she had to go off and get a boyfriend, causing much despair in the she-male spacefem community.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I've changed my mind so many times, but I am currently pursuing a master's in library/info science. I am thinking about becoming a teacher and ducking out the recession. When this impending wave of retiring librarians occurs in 5-10 years, I'll be ready. Maybe I'll get a job as a school librarian, they pretty much have the best jobs ever and you have to have teaching experience.
I'm also thinking that it would be amazing to work for an academic library. Either in distributed learning, web services, or in library administration doing research (what I do now as a graduate assistant).
Basically, I want to go with the flow.

What general things should we know about you?
I'm 22, in grad school, married, husband just finished school, so we're in this huge transitional phase where we don't know where we'll be living, what we'll be doing, or what industry we'll be working in once they kick us out of our student jobs. Oh, and we have three cats that are along for the ride.
What do you feel is your greatest achievement in life?
I felt uncomfortable when people congratulated me for getting a college degree, but now I'm starting to feel a little proud of it. I hung in there, got it done early. I'm pretty proud of supporting myself and not asking for money from my family. It was rough at first, but I'm happy where I am. I guess I haven't really achieved anything that huge just yet. I'll be happy when I get my master's, but not proud because it might not get me a job.
I think my biggest achievement will be landing a desirable, full-time job. I'm not holding my breath, though.
What kinds of music do you like?
Beck, Blanche, Janelle Monae, Pink Floyd, The Raconteurs, Spoon, Tom Waits, TV On The Radio, The White Stripes, all examples (totally pasted this off of Facebook). I like good music from any genre/style.
What do you like/not like to wear?
I like flats, skirts, jeans, t-shirts, nothing fancy. I'm currently overweight (freshman 50, I call it) so I can't buy all of the awesome, retro-inspired dresses that I see online.
What is your gender?
Femme!

What do you like about yourself?
I'm okay.
What's your major?
Undergrad was interdisciplinary, French, Political Science, and Linguistics. My graduate degree is in Information Science (Library Science + extra technology) with some French courses thrown in for fun. I'm considering getting a teaching certification if substitute teaching works out.
What are your favorite movies?
Elling, Ma Vie En Rose, Fargo, Office Space, Rushmore, O Brother Where Art Thou?, La Vita e Bella, The Pianist, Being John Malkovich, Persepolis, documentaries, musicals
What part of the world do you live in? Do you like it?
Texas, and I like it (well... not north Texas, where I'm living now for schooling). It's a big place, all parts of the state are different but I love the cultural diversity, food, certain landscapes, low cost of living, and the weather. I dislike the conservativeness, but I live in my college bubble where people are more open-minded so it's okay.
What is your religious identification/lack thereof?
I think that the universe is beyond human comprehension. I don't necessarily believe that human beings are important or that there is an afterlife, but I don't rule it out entirely. I just don't know, I can't know, so I don't want to dwell on it.
Which gender are you sexually attracted to?
Men
Care to list your body mods?
Tattoos: Scythian tattoo design found on an ice mummy, scarab, ouroboros, Ma'at, Thai elephant, Aries, Delhaize (food lion), eye of Horus, Dharma wheel (I think 9 is it, not sure)
Piercings: My eyebrows had been pierced multiple times (they kept growing out) but I traded those for respectable ear studs.
