My blazer I think. Or my pants. Or my socks? I guess those are the tightest so therefore the closest to me?

Re: harvey weinstein

I'm of two minds about this whole thing. On one hand the fact that people are being instantly believed and there are consequences is enormously powerful and very new. Even when things broke in Hollywood before there was doubt and sweeping it under the carpet. There is currently a pretty good environ...

This is an exciting development. I'm jealous of your space leggings.

I love sweatpants. The only nice and thick pair I own though now that I think about it is a pair I got at a clothing swap. Not sure where they came from.

No I love it. Which is kind of weird because I'm a fairly anxious person and I'm pretty afraid of heights.

Outside of a plane on any other flying contraption would be a different story though

Ugh thank you! I keep coming across people who are really proud of themselves for not having a microwave. I think it's a case of not really understanding the science but having a vague sense of unatural = bad.

I should say.. I participated in that I put the hashtag in my post and shared a link about how men can help. I'm also not comfortable dropping stories like that where everyone can see. Only one of my Facebook friends posted a story, most just put the hashtag alone.

Apparently girl guides was founded by his sister Agnes. Our leaders were mostly outgoing mom types.. so not so militaristic lol. There was a lot of crafts and camping and singing.

Re: Boy Scouts Will Accept Girls

I went to girl guides which I guess doesn't have an American equivalent? We did basically everything the boy scouts did but boy scouts always seemed a bit more militaristic? Whereas girl guides was more about dancing around large foam mushrooms before learning how to put up your tent. So my point is...

I thought this was kind of cool and participated but I wasn't surprised at all. Women share these stories with each other. And you're definitely right that it's emotional labour that would probably do nothing really. The thing that got me was a couple of my male friends sharing the #Ibelieveyou hash...

On purpose was David Usher, Sam Roberts outdoor thing. Super canadian of me I know, you have no idea who they are right? Random festivals with my parents I was too young to remember. I also once went to a concert for.. B44?? Which was basically a promotional setup involving the girl guides. They nev...

Both depending on the circumstances. I had to google tangle teaser. It looks like it would definitely get stuck in tangled hair but I'm probably wrong. Is it good for certain hair types?

This is super interesting. Can I just say ugh about your family? It sucks they didn't take it well. The funniest thing about my reaction to you transitioning (to me at least) is that my general urge is to teach you the ways of women aka makeup, hair, clothes whatever. Basically everything I learned ...

I watched Say Anything which somehow I hadn't seen before and was surprised to find it was really pretty good! It aged a lot better then most 80s romantic comedies.

Re: The more accomplished the female character, the more violent the response.

This is probably a stupid reason to dislike the above paragraph.. but breasts are super hard to get a grip on. This is terrible writing. It's like the person who wrote this never met a boob. Also this is explicitly violent against the character's femininity. I'd agree that it's violence as an attemp...

Medium? Im good in the outdoors and have read many hatchet type books and watched a lot of survivorman so there's that but I've also never hunted or fished (vegetarian) and my plant identification is not great. I did get lost in the woods once and we found our way out eventually before needing food...

Mel's kid ended that discussion calling himself a boy.. and with that discussion lowered the likelihood of Mel's kid being an ass to a trans or in any way gender nonconformist kid they might come across. I fail to see how this is damaging society.

Re: What is something you think about too much?

I think too much about the negative social situations in my life despite having a good amount of positive ones as well (more actually). I think too much about what I could do to make money on a passion (unproductively). I worry too much about possible dangers. I mull too much on my to-do list. I wor...
