Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (spoilers)

^ In other words, Luke wasn't the hero you wanted him to be. You're in the Kylo-position. You don't like being manipulated. Whereas I didn't feel manipulated. That was surprising, and I went with it. No, Luke wasn't the hero The Force Awakens set him up to be. And he certainly wasn't the person Ret...

Re: Teaching men how to find "the One"

There is no such thing as "The One". People can change at any given time for any given reason. If you have a long lasting and happy marriage, you are lucky is all.

Re: MGTOW: Marriage

actually, and you probably have read this, but men benefit from marriage health wise more than women do. withholding sex would imply you feel entitled to it. women aren't objects. you're a misogynist but it's ok because a lot of misogynists still get married. Men don't do better health wise if the ...

^ I'll just say that I find it interesting how radically people's interpretations of Luke, his fear of Kylo, and his death can differ. Without just saying "I'm right, you're wrong," I think it amounts to competing headcanons, or these large-scale decisions about character and consistency that we ma...

I thought it was actually more of a he was finally at peace, and could pass, instead of being angry/depressed/feeling like a failure. It had echos back to the original series' origins, which we don't really see much of anywhere, but I thought it was a nice touch. I don't think it was actually the p...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (spoilers)

I found the killing of Luke pointless and nonsensical. Leia can survive an explosion, the vaccuum and cold of space and guide her way back, but Luke dies from a force projection... From a writing perspective, you would think the entire point of using a projection and not going there himself was to h...

7 MGTOW topics in 15 days, on a feminist forum with very low posting frequency. And you say you're not doing activism, SimpleMan. Despite the fact that one of your stated reasons is to try to get feminists to understand MGTOW so they won't perpetuate the idea that MGTOW is a hate group. You claim tha...

Re: MGTOW: Introduction

MGTOW does not do any form of activism. We basically separate ourselves from society and that is pretty much it... there is different levels of separation, all the way down to the guy living off the grid in some forest.
You've been doing tons of activism on this forum.

Normally it goes like this.

- Woman earns more than husband.
- Is the one who bears the kids.
- Won't touch apron wearing husband with a 10 ft barge pole.

Otherwise... deciding to not get married will end up listing people as terrorists... LOL wut? There are so many hot takes and thinkpieces out there worrying about why women aren't marrying early, young, or at all that this doesn't seem like a concern. It is somewhere in the forum... the argument go...

Re: MGTOW: Masculinity is Dead.

MGTOW rejects traditional masculinity in major ways. - The role of provider, protector, and pursuer (of sex and relationships). These are thrown out in favour of a masculinity that is completely defined by self fulfillment. Society wants and needs men to inhabit these roles, so many parts of masculi...

I can understand someone else point views, though I can still say I don't agree with them... or accept them. kinda deal...

Whatever you call it, the question remains.

Why would do want feminists to understand MGTOW?

Re: Flat Earth Discussion

Isn't gravity the primary reason water stays on the surface? Centripetal force (what keeps the water in the bucket) pushes push outward, not inward which is what you'd need for water to stay on a sphere. This. Water flying off the Earth when it stops spinning presumes a sudden stop, causing the wat...

My main premise here is that I have notice feminism have an image of MGTOW that does not match with reality... my goal is to present a more accurate image... I am not even offering a better image, just a more real one... If after all this exercise the end result still being rejected, that is fine.....

I feel that when people respond this way to their own relationship history, they're not looking at the true source of the problem, which is themselves. Whether or not we realize it, we are all trying to re-create the conditions of early childhood in our adult relationships. If you had materialistic...

There's also disagreement on who is more privileged than whom. Terfs = Transpeople are more privileged than ciswomen. Transactivists = Cis women are more privileged than trans, or they're equally marginalized in different ways. (depends on who one asks). Therefore terfs see it as men, aka the patria...
