Edinburgh Fringe Shows!

Anyone went/still there/going to go? Write your show recommendations here! So I was just there for a week from Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th and managed to fit in 28 shows! I saw a variety of comedy, theatre, musicals and odd things. :) This list is on order of seeing. John Robertson - The Dark Room...

Re: uninvited house guests

Our house was infested with mice last year, we called the terminator... One mouse was cute. Finding that they peed on and ripped up all the spare sheets in the back of the cupboard was less cute.

Re: What is the optimal amount of art to have in your home?

I like some art, but not too much. I generally either make my own art (which I tend to not hang up actually), get given art, or buy it from my local craft store when they have a sale. There's usually some reeeeeally nice stuff there then. https://scontent.ftxl1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/530783_101006...

Yeah, Feminism has lots of different facets and some are very transphobic.

I think mumsnet is more of a general advice and reddit forum for mothers, it's not particularly feminist.

Lab skills course

I've been approved (and have the JobCenter agree to pay for the course) to do a lab skills course! This will be 6 months of theory and practical skills and a project at the end in the industry, and I'm quite excited about it all :) It starts end of August. Once I've finished it I can probably get a ...

Dogs are indeed, the weirdest :P But also adorable!

I've been out of the lab for quite a while now but I've just been approved for a lab skills course which will not only bring me back up to date, but will also put me in touch with some industry contacts, so yay!
