I'm going to try to stay off my soap box, and only post some links. Satanism, go directly to the Church of Satan website. They don't believe in Satan, God or any other diety. http://www.churchofsatan.com Wicca, a form of paganism, also does not believe in Satan. They are nature based. http://www.wic...

I think it's sad that the two main candidates have been superficially reduced to what they are, instead of looking at the bigger picture of what each candidate represents. In one way it's good that America is being forced to choose between a woman and a black man since it will be forced to look bey...

I read the "All You Need Is Hate" article and I also read the entire (all 7 pages!) "The Hillary Hates" article. I still don't like the woman, but even I have to say that not liking her based on either how she dresses or her hairstyle is totally ridiculous. John Edwards also got lambasted over payin...

Re: back to sex

Here in California, it is expected of a woman to do it ,no matter what -- so in the past, when I've said that I don't do it, I've gotten responses from guys that ranged from surprised to downright insulting. The "you'll never get married" argument is what most guys use, at which point I explain tha...

I'm Southern, was raised in the South, and was raised to be tough as nails arm candy. Southern women can seem to be a breed of their own. Hokey as it may seem, but Steel Magnolia's gets us pretty well. There were two very influential women in my life: my mother and grandmother. My grandmother was bo...

And being able to actually register at the polls in the regular election I think is brilliant. You just have to bring ID with you with your address on it. When I first moved here, it was a really good thing because I had checked the "register me to vote" when I got my driver's license, but for some...

Does it have to be so freakin' cold in my office all the time? It's like 34 degrees outside! And it's February! It's called heat people...turn it on. When I can't type because my fingers are cold, that's not a good thing.

As for experience: that's not entirely true. Obama would wind up getting more experience, if he were a senator longer before running for president. That was something that I saw in the Yahoo article I linked. One older man said that Obama seemed like a good man, but that he was too young and inexpe...

I'm not going to take experience, or lack there of, into consideration at all. The way I feel about that is that if someone isn't given a chance, they can't get the experience. It's like job hunting, and you apply for a job that you may not have all of the experience they're looking for. Doesn't mea...

The more I think about her, the more I come to the conclusion that either you love Hillary or you hate her. There really doesn't seem to be an in between. To me, there does need to be some warm fuzziness on the part of politicians, not just the President, but everyone right down to the Mayor and tow...

I feel there must have been something wrong in their marriage for him to look outside of it. I. Did you really just blame the woman for a man's infidelity? coz that's what i read it as, and I equate that as very similar to "she was wearing a miniskirt, she was asking for it" in terms of rape. No, I...

I just wish Skinny Cow made all chocolate ice cream sandwiches. Swirl is all well and good, but I need chocolate!

Mrs. Smith's just came out with some 100 calorie desserts, and I tried the chocolate mousse. It was good! I'd definatly buy it again.

Maybe it's how I was raise/area of the county I'm from or whatever, but I like having the door held open for me. Let me clarify though, I like doors to places like stores and the house, but not car doors. I have no idea why having the car door opened, and then closed for me irritates me, but it does...

Here is my opinion on the whole Monica thing and the Clintons: She wasn't his first affair, remember Gennifer Flowers? And there were numerous claims of sexual misconduct on his part. To me, this says that Bill is a letch, shouldn't reflect on Hillary, right? Well, don't jump to that conclusion too ...

I'm pretty sure that my mother got pregnant on her honeymoon. I used to think I was at the wedding, but a friend of mine who is a doctor pulled out her little wheel thing they use to estimate due dates, and based on all that info, no, I was not at the wedding. But, they got married in October, and I...

Skeptic, now that you mention Victoria Woodhull, I think I remember studying here in high school. Of course, that was a LONG time ago, so I won't swear to it. I do remember though when Walter Mondale chose Geraldine Ferraro for his running mate. Where I'm originally from, that caused quite a stir, b...

Actually, GlassBallerina, you said what was in my head, I just sometimes have a disconnect between my brain and fingers. :) The flip-flopping can also work against her in that some people will say "typical female, can't make up her own mind." Of course, that's a horrible mindset in and of itself, bu...

Unfortunatly, in this day and age, "feelings" play a huge part in decision making. Perhaps they always have. There are people who will vote for her simply because she is a woman, and they feel that the time is right to have a woman in the White House as more than just a First Lady. There are people ...

I find her to be overly ambitious I find this comment interesting. Could you elucidate what you mean? How is it that a woman can be overly ambitious? Would the same thing be true of a man? Isn't ambition a good thing? It's almost one of those things that I'm not totally sure I can express that woul...

Election

With the election looming over our heads, and it being in the news every day, I've actually been paying attention to it this year much earlier than I normally do. Mostly because I hate Hillary Clinton, and I won't be voting for her at all. Now, I'm all for strong women, and women leadership. I think...

Tell her what I finally had to tell my mom. And, after I said it, she and I have gotten along so much better. "Mom, I love you, and there was a time when you were allowed to make your own mistakes. Now is my time. I need to make them and learn from them. On my own. My way." Seriously. I moved out of...

Could this have been identity theft? Hopefully they've gotten back to you as to where this withdrawl took place and all that. Honestly, I'd close that account. I've heard nothing but bad things about Wells Fargo. I bank with Bank of America, and had no problems with them in like 5 years. Once we had...
