myers-briggs

Post by spacefem » Thu Sep 5, 8:26 2013

Just realized - this is a spacial profiling question, and a few years ago we added a poll. but no one actually filled out the poll. so go fill it out!

viewtopic.php?f=30&t=45080

Mostly because we just did this test in my office and HALF of us were ISTJ/ESTJ. I'm just wondering if everyone is really just like me, or if that was a weird sample of the population because we all work for the same company in technical positions making airplanes.

I filled it out! (How strange; I answered the question in the post, but not the poll. D'oh.)

I've been classified as an INTJ. I don't really know what my colleagues or friends would be, but there is only one other that I would bet was INTJ.

It was added later. I'm (I/E)NTJ depending on the day.

I am an INFP, or I was when I last took the. Myers-Briggs. Holy crap! That was almost a decade ago! I wonder if I would be the same type if I took the exam today!

I'm INFJ, whatever that means.

I am an ENFP, at least I was 10 years ago or so? Wondering where I can take the test again?

There's a free version of the test available here, though the site tries to get you to pay for more information, I don't remember it being too obnoxious about it the last time I used it and there are plenty of basic write ups about the different types available online.

Based on ^that test, I'm an INFJ. But the percentages for I and N were very low (>15%), while for the F it was a bit higher, and for J very high. So I'm sort-of-middling in a lot of ways but very judgmental. This seems to be accurate based on the explanation of types at The Myers-Briggs foundation's website.

INJF is 1% of the population. Weird. That explains a lot.

Thank you.

Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(75%) Feeling(25%) Judging(56%)
You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have distinctive preference of Intuition over Sensing (75%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%)

I feel like I am neither and extrovert nor introvert. I've done this test a few times in my life and I end up with ENFJ pretty much every time. This does explain why I work with disturbed children.

I end up ENTP or INTP because I'm very moderate on I vs. E. I have traits of both. I expend energy to recharge, but avoid the excessive social interaction, which is funny now that I get up in front of a room full of kids (sometimes humdreds of them) and essentially put on a show and try to get them pumped up about whatever the hell it is we're doing that day.
