Well, my birth mother was a paranoid schizophrenic with hebephrenic episodes and a very complicated relationship with truth. So, yep, she told a lot of stories, ha!

Yes. Stories about our family, Little Golden Book stories like The Pokey Little Puppy, other stories in books. I grew up rich in stories.

Yes. I especially liked hearing stories about each of my parents growing up, since the times and the places and the experiences were so different from my own and from each other's. My dad has stories about growing up poor but happy in the country. My mom has hillarious stories about her mischief with her cousins.

My dad did, yeah. A mixture of ones he made up and stories from when he was a kid. I can barely remember them now, though, which makes me really sad.
