I don't have any ex-lovers. Just dormant ones.

Nothing was strictly wrong. She and I just had different approaches to emotional intimacy.

well, the main thing was that he lied to me and didn't seem interested in respecting the boundaries I tried to establish as a first step to rebuilding my trust. It was also a pretty big deal to me that he wanted to sleep with other women (not to rag on polyamory generally but it is not for me and he didn't take my feelings seriously). And once I ended it he continued to behave in ways that showed extreme self-centeredness.

(i'm getting through it but it's been a rough ...five months? Shit, that's really how long ago this started.)

Nothing really, other than he's now several provinces away. We left each other on good terms.

Also nothing wrong, just general and serious lack of compatibility. I think our initial attraction was based on an idealized theory of the other instead of reality. When reality kicked in, it was no bueno. Too similar in personality aspects in which we should've been complementing each other, too different in values where we should've been aligned.

Long story short, she pushed me down into a well of depression until I didn't care about what happened the next day, then she convinced me to have unprotected sex and later revealed that she just wanted a baby and didn't care who the father was.

Well... that's seven different levels of fucked up.

Nothing, but there was definitely something wrong with me. I used to think that we met too early. Now, I don't think about it.

Eh. I dunno. Most of them have been fine. That one guy though was a jerk.
