Not recently but have had them in apartments Ive lived at. Annoying little things. Funny story.

I caught 4 mice with traps at my apartment but knew there was at least one left. This last mouse was a genious and probably the mother. A glue trap almost got her but she actually managed to pull herself off.

This mouse was extra annoying because it seemed to have a taste for marijuana. It would literally pass by food like a bag of chips etc and crawl into a hiding spot and eat the hidden marijuana. I had it out for this mouse.

One day my cat and I cornered the mouse behind the entertainment center. I surrounded it with doubled up glue traps. The only ways out were along the wall left and right. My cat took one side, I knelt down and took the other.

Trapped in the middl,. the mouse looked at me, then the cat, then me and did the last thing I expected it to do. It jumped over two traps directly at me at eye level. I fell back and he/she got away.

Never did catch that mouse. It continued to eat any marijuana left out until I moved about 3 months later....

The mouse won

Oh god I hope not. *Shudders*

My funnyish mouse story is that when I first moved into my last place we thought we might have mice. We left traps out for months and never caught anything. Anyways we forgot to remove the trap under my dresser. A year or so later we noticed a funny smell in the bedroom. It took us a week or two to narrow down the source. By the time we realized the trap was there the mouse was so decomposed we had to pry the remains of the hardwood. *Gag*

Long story short this was under my clothes, I probably smelled vaguely like dead mouse for a while. Always count your mouse traps.

I don't think so, we just had an exterminator out to check for issues because there's a weird noise.

We did a while back though (we plugged the holes with steel wool & spray foam). We found out because one of the cats decided to bring us a present... on the bed... in the middle of the night. *shudder*

That's what that was! I knew I knew that smell... :P
Where there's smoke, there's fire. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. So just shut up, and bring some water.

Not that I'm aware of, but we've busted our cat a couple of times trying to bring in a shrew.

Not that I've seen. Now I'm wondering what my dog would do if he found a mouse...

Thankfully no! Our upstairs neighbors have a cat so I think that would help with any potential mouse problem :-)

Not that I know of, thank goodness. They're too big for lizards to eat.

I don't think so. We used to get them but since getting a device that makes a high frequency noise we get far less.
