Well there is a crack in my end, but I'm not sure that means it's split...

^I read that earlier and thought you were referencing some sort of head wound. Jokes can be just as funny with delayed catching.

I honestly don't know what split ends are or how they negatively affect my hair. Like, I can see if my hair looks somewhat ragged, or if it doesn't all stay in place when I comb it. But otherwise, "split ends" reads to me like a shampoo company wanting me to worry about something that happens anyway, something that may need more care and attention than switching shampoos can offer. But that may be outside of what I know.
