Old stale stagnant sweat.

I work with truck drivers, a small few dont shower.

You can smell certain ones coming way before they hit the door. Its rare but god awful when they show up. I asaw one "washup" with all his clothes on, in the sink.

On a school trip we were riding home when a terrible smell began to permeate the entire bus. It smelled like decay, like sandwiches gone horribly bad (meat + cheese + death), like the inexorable process of death itself. We had to stop and air out the bus twice before we got home, and none of us could identify the source of the smell.

While riding home in my parents' car, I smelled my jacket, which had been in the bus's storage compartment. It had the smell. I don't think it was the source any longer (only something larger - like food gone bad - could cause that, so my jacket must have just been close to the source), but for years I thought that my jacket did that. I threw it away when I could have just washed it. :(

ooooooooo yeah, vomit is definitely up there. Especially because smelling vomit makes me want to vomit.

My boyfriend cooks eggs in a cast iron pan, and I don't know if he just overcooks his eggs, or it's residual eggs from past breakfasts, or if that's just how eggs scrambled in a cast iron pan smell, but it's terrible. I'm very tempted to ban him from using my cast iron because I really can't deal with how awful it smells. And it's in the morning too, when I'm already super grumpy.
Bork is too lazy to bother thinking up a witty signature. :polarbear:
